tea setAug 02, 2008 This set is so much fun for my grandson who is two. Fun for him and the family...great tea parties!
Perfect Tea SetJul 30, 2008 I got this tea set for my daughter as a present for giving up her bottle. She loves it. The instant she saw it she wanted to play with it. The cups and spoons are larger than most so it's easy for her little hands to manage and it's made of a durable plastic so it won't break easily. The little jingle does play often, but it's not as loud as some of her other toys. She hasn't stopped playing with it since she openened it. This is a great tea set!
Cute tea setJul 29, 2008 My 2 yr old daughter loves this tea set. She enjoys stirring the tea in the cup. We do not put water in it but she loves to pretend to pour the tea.
My toddler likes it, but I find it a bit dissappointingJul 24, 2008 I bought this for my 18 month old daughter because her au pair said that she needed a tea set. She loves it. She plays tea party with her au pair every day. She likes to push the button on the top of tea pot to play music. And it plays I'm a little teapot when you tip it over.
But the music is high pitched and annoying. It is a bit loud and there is no off-switch or volume control. The end of the Little Tea Pot song doesn't sound correct. It sounds like the Jeopardy game show theme song. I'll be happy when the battery runs out.
The other disappointing thing about it is that there are tiny holes around the sides of the cups. You can't actually put any liquid in these these cups, despite what other reviewers have said. But I guess that's also a good way to prevent messes. When she's older, I'll probably get her a nicer tea set. But for a toddler, this is a pretty good set.
A delightful tea-setJun 11, 2008 My little granddaughter loves this tea-set, and serves tea every day! When guests come, she faithfully appears with her tray and the guests love it. She was very sad that her previous porcelain tea-set got broken after she decided to hammer it into shape. Now, she tests the set for durability and is very pleased when nothing bad happens. This tea-set is a hit!
